1. Controller and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the public WriteAs.pro web product and related support, billing, moderation, and safety workflows. The data controller is the WriteAs.pro operator identified in the service interface, checkout flow, order form, or other company notice presented to you.

2. Categories of data we collect

  • Account data, such as name, email address, authentication data, and account settings.
  • Billing data, such as purchase history, invoices, credit transactions, payment metadata, and fraud-prevention signals.
  • Usage data, such as prompts, outputs, generation history, ratings, logs, device data, IP-derived security signals, and product interaction events.
  • Training data, such as uploaded files, transcripts, pasted text, model names, descriptions, style hints, and moderation notes.
  • Shared model data, such as public alias, style summary, sample outputs, pricing, review decisions, and marketplace metrics.
  • Support and complaint data, such as emails, tickets, notices, takedown requests, and verification materials.

3. How we use data

  • To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and secure the service.
  • To process payments, allocate credits, prevent fraud, and maintain accounting records.
  • To generate outputs, train private models, run style profiling, indexing, moderation, and related AI workflows.
  • To review shared models, investigate complaints, enforce policies, and protect the service, users, and third parties.
  • To provide support, communicate about the service, and send transactional notices.
  • To improve the service, analytics, and operations, including safety and abuse detection.

4. Legal bases

Depending on your location and the processing involved, we rely on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, your instructions, and, where presented to you, consent. Legitimate interests include service delivery, account security, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, rights enforcement, troubleshooting, and product improvement consistent with user expectations and applicable law.

5. AI processing and service providers

To provide WriteAs.pro, we may send prompts, uploads, transcripts, excerpts, moderation data, or outputs to infrastructure and AI subprocessors, including hosting providers, payment processors, email providers, moderation systems, and model providers such as OpenAI. We use these providers to operate the service on our behalf and under appropriate contractual controls where applicable.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your private training corpus to create public personas by default. If we offer optional opt-in product-improvement training, that will be governed by explicit product controls and notices.

6. Shared and public models

If you choose to share a model, certain data becomes public or semi-public inside the service, including the model's anonymous public identifier, listing text, examples, pricing, moderation status, and marketplace metrics. Shared model content may remain in logs, generated histories, complaint files, cached systems, backups, or legal records for a limited period even after a model is unpublished.

7. International transfers

WriteAs.pro may process and store data in multiple countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we use the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable law, which may include contractual protections, vendor commitments, and supplementary organizational or technical measures.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, security, fraud prevention, accounting, audit, complaint handling, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and defense of claims.

  • Account and billing records may be retained for tax, accounting, and anti-fraud reasons.
  • Uploads, prompts, outputs, and model data may be retained while your account is active and for a limited period thereafter for backup, abuse prevention, and complaint handling.
  • Deletion requests do not necessarily remove immutable logs, backups, or records we must keep by law or for legal claims.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection in relation to your personal data. You may also request closure of your account. Some rights are limited where data must be retained for security, legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or rights-enforcement reasons.

To make a request, email privacy@writeas.pro. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of storage, transmission, or AI processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

WriteAs.pro is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law to use the service. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

12. Changes and related policies

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here or otherwise communicated through the service. This policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Content Policy, and Copyright & DMCA Policy.
